  • Is there any fee to become a Fixense provider?
    For now, Fixense is absolutely free for providers. And don’t worry—we’ll give you plenty of notice before we begin charging any fees.

  • Once I sign up to become a provider, how soon will I be able to start receiving qualified leads?
    Registering with Fixense is fast and easy. You'll be able to start bidding on jobs in just 24 hours.

  • What information does Fixense need from me?
    You’ll need to provide a copy of your driver’s license, your residential address, your work address (optional), and a recent photo taken from the waist up for your avatar.

  • What kinds of service providers are Fixense looking for?
    We’re searching for a wide variety of providers in many different service categories. If you’re good at what you do, we’d love for you to offer your expertise to our customers.

  • How will potential customers know I'm the right choice for a job?
    In addition to reviewing your bid, they'll also be able to learn about you by reviewing your profile. After you sign up you’ll create a Fixense profile where you can list your special skills, experience, languages spoken and any certifications you may have. You don’t need to be licensed, bonded and insured, but if you are you can include that information in your profile. After you complete jobs, customers can rate the quality of your work and leave reviews for you.

  • What sort of information will I have about potential jobs?
    Whenever there’s a job that meets your specifications—for your skills in your local area where you want to work—you’ll receive notice through the Fixense app. You’ll get a complete description of the work needed, often with video or audio from the customer. If you have questions, you can chat via phone or text with the customer, before or after you prepare a preliminary estimate. You’ll finalize the estimate once you get to the work site.

  • How do I get paid after a job?
    You decide what forms of payment you want to accept (cash, check, credit cards, PayPal, etc.), and the customer will pay you directly.

  • What sort of paperwork or accounting do I have to do?
    The app will send an invoice receipt, and a warranty if offered, to the customer after the job, with information you input.

  • What happens if I have a dispute with a customer or disagree with rating or review that was left?
